Gilbert A. Godwin Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 25, 2020, Gilbert A. Godwin (Oakland, New Jersey) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Godwin and Martha Godwin (Hagstedt); and his siblings, Doris Galloway (NJ) and Raymond Godwin (MD). He is survived by: his wife Janet Godwin (Mueller); his children, Tina Reese (Wayne) of Bedminster, NJ and Brian Godwin of Manchester, CT; his grandchildren, Megan, David and Peter Godwin of Glastonbury, CT; his sister Marion Snedecor of Utah; and his sisters-in-law, Linda Dufresne (John) of Tampa, FL and Anne Mueller of Wayne, NJ. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Gilbert would be honored for donations to go to Messiah Lutheran Church in Oakland, NJ.
