He was predeceased by: his wife Sylvia (Smith); and his son John. He is survived by: his children, Doreen Atkinson (Tom) of Oakland, Peter Sondervan (Sheila) of Oakland and Robert Sondervan; his grandchildren, Daniel, Jason, Cori, Ryan, John, Fayth, Kadie, Michael, A. J. and Nathan; his siblings, Richard Sondervan of Hardeston and Isabella Strauss of Hardeston; and his pets, Willy and Disney. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
