With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Daniel J Oves of Ocean City, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 15, 2025 at the age of 52. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Thomas Oves Sr.; and his siblings, Thomas Rawlings Oves and Anne Marie Oves. He is survived by: his mother Anne Oves; his brothers, Chris Oves (Tobi) and Alex Oves (Donna); his sister-in-law Mary Oves; his siblings' children, Dustin Oves, John Oves, AJ Oves, Tommy Oves, Matthew Oves, Brett Oves, Brady Oves and Grace Oves; his aunt Beth Bowman; and his caregivers, Craig Mowers and Eric Mensah.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, September 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Oves Restaurant.
He volunteered for the residents of the Shores at Wesley Manor. And he also volunteered for Kookie Kids charity, helping to bake & package cookies to raise money for the needy.
