We are sad to announce that on July 8, 2025, at the age of 101, Dorothy H Dougherty (Ocean City, New Jersey) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband William R. Dougherty of Ocean City, NJ. She is survived by: her sons, William R. Dougherty (Patricia) of Doylestown, PA, John P. Dougherty (Wendy) of Strathmere, NJ and Charles J. Dougherty (Betsy) of Ocean City, NJ.; her grandchildren, Jack Dougherty (Chrissy), Michael Dougherty (Millica), Kathryn Harding (Jonathan), Lindsay Scott (Jeremy), Kerrigan Knoll (Kevin), Patrick Dougherty (Angela) and Tyler Dougherty; and her great grandchildren, Allison of Caroline, KC, Liam, Sean, Oscar, Nina, Colin, Riley, Finnerty, Charles, William and Emily.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Good Counsel Church (3948 Central Ave, Ocean City, NJ 08226). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the Seaside Cemetery (559 S Shore Rd, Marmora, NJ 08223).
In Lieu of flowers donations may be made in Dorothy's name to her beloved Villa Rafaella Assisted Living Facility, 917 S. Main Street, Pleasantville NJ 08232.
