We are sad to announce that on April 19, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Eileen Teresa Kennedy of Ocean City, New Jersey. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband John P. Kennedy; her sons, Leo and Edward; her granddaughter Christin; her parents, Winnifred Whitaker and Benjamin Whitaker; and her siblings, Eugene Whitaker, Joseph Whitaker, Mary Ryan, Ann Byers and Thomas Whitaker.

She is survived by: her children, Paul (Pam), Christin Pryor (David), Jerome (Rosemary), Peter (Ellen), John (Suzie), Ann Fulco (Dominic), Joseph (Shannon), Thomas (Lydia), Robert, Martin (Nancy) and Nicholas (Claire); and her sister Sis Everly. She is also survived by her 43 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.

“I will be ever so thankful to have known Eileen. It was my sincere pleasure to bring her Holy Communion three times a week. She had such a deep spiritual life. She loved to question and sometimes tease me about the meaning of Biblical quotes. Every week she would ask for a full report on our Bible Study meetings. She never forgot her Bible Study, Mahjong, and Book Club Ladies. She also wanted to be keep abreast of St. Damien Parish activities especially at St. Frances Cabrini Church. Terry Z.”
