He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Gelfman and Lena Gelfman (August); and his niece Victoria Gelfman. He is survived by: his wife Margo; his son Austin Gelfman of Sherman Oaks, CA; his brother Richard; his sister-in-law Lenore Gelfman of Columbia, MD; and his nieces, Hillary Gelfman of Chicago, IL, Dr. Joanna Gelfman and Leela.
