He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlo Romano and Angelina Romano; and his sister Madeline Urban. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Romano; his children, Larry Romano of Brick, NJ, Scott Romano and Danielle Galvin (Richard); the mother of his children Barbara Romano of Toms River, NJ; his sister Marie Kotz of Hoboken, NJ; his stepchildren, Sheila Schmidt (Peter), Barbara Seipel (Robert) of Brick, Allan Feldman and Wayne Feldman; his grandchildren, Mitchell, Sarah, Trevor, Isabella, Cassandra, Elyssa and Eizen; and his great grandchild Kayden.
