He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ard and Anne Ard; and his son Jonathan. He is survived by: his wife Mary Elizabeth Ard; his children, Lizabeth, William (Billy), Christopher, Patrick and Billy; and his grandson Brendan. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and one great grandchild.
