She was predeceased by: her parents, Ramon Vega-Montanez and Rita Vega-Montanez; her husband Pedro Otero Ortega; and her sister Anabelle Barlow. She is survived by: her brother Victor Vega; her daughters, Ada Otero and Gloria Rhame; and her grandchildren, Adrienne Quinones, Nicole Barlow, Alicia Barlow, Peter Cornier, Melissa Rhame, Cody Rhame, Manny Ortiz, Ricky Ortiz and Peter Ortiz. She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren and many dear friends.
