He was predeceased by: his brother Paul. He is survived by: his parents, Paul Kern and Marcella Kern of Old Bridge; his siblings, Joseph Kern (Nancy) of East Brunswick and Mary Deady (Jim) of Manalapan; and his nieces and nephews, Melissa, Jessica, Emily, Brian, Edward and Steven.
