He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth Mangano; and his siblings, Frank Mangano, Vincent Mangano and Fannie Staropoli. He is survived by: his children, Thomas (Toni) of Sayreville, Maria Haberin (Martin) of Pennington and Susan Russo (Mark) of Branchburg; his grandchildren, Timothy, Jonathan, Caitlin, Michele, Meghan, Kelsey, Marissa and Marlena; and his significant other Marilyn Fulton.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in his name to Holiday Heights First Aid Squad or St. Maximilian Kolbe Church.
