He was predeceased by: his parents, Huanzhang and Jue. He is survived by: his wife Xinru Yang; his daughter Xuan Chai-Chin (Alexander); his siblings, Junzhi Chai, Junfen Chai, Junhou Chai and Junchuan Chai; and his grandchildren, Evelynne Chin and Maxwell Chin.
