He is survived by: his wife Pamela Schwyzer McGovern; his son Sean McGovern (Nicole); his grandson Patrick of Old Bridge; his daughter Erin P. McGovern of Old Bridge; his siblings, Georgene Slootsky (Michael) of Bayonne and Brian McGovern (Peggy) of Rahway; and his siblings-in-law, Judith Griffin (Theodore), Barbara Anderson (Keith) and Steven Schwyzer (Cheryl). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
