He was predeceased by : his parents, Harry Pinckney and Sarah Cortelyou Northrop (Overbaugh); and his former life partner Arden Ruth Northrop (Svenson). He is survived by : his wife Marlene Ann Northrop; his daughters, Melissa Arden Keiser (Richard H. Keiser) of Alexandria, VA and Dr. Jennifer A. Northrop (John Delmonte Jr.) of Saratoga Springs, NY; and his granddaughters, Amanda Keiser, Alessandra Delmonte and Avery Delmonte.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in David's memory to Trinity Reformed Church, 292 Old Tappan Rd, Old Tappan, NJ 07675 (http://www.trinityoldtappan.com).
