She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Bentley and Eleane Chester; and her sons, Anthony and Kenneth Norwood. She is survived by: her husband Goven Nixon; her children, Hershel Norwood, Ronald Abdul Norwood and Riva I. Wiggins; and her granddaughter Sacoya Holmes. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews and Godchildren.
