She was predeceased by: her sibling Carlos. She is survived by: her husband Hector Velez Sr; her son Hector Velez Jr. (Tricia); her grandchildren, Alexandra, Olivia and Sofia; and her siblings, Margo, Edith, Carmelo, Santine, Julie, Ana, Carmen, Miguel, Angel and Nieves. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
