He was predeceased by : his parents, Jonathan Cardenas and Mary Cardenas; and his brother Brian Cardenas. He is survived by : his friend Spencer Hockenberry; his wife Janet Chamberlain; his daughters, Doris Stryker, Mary Cardenas (Andrew Brown) and Janet "Tiny" Cardenas; his grandchildren, Damion Boyd, Jacob Boyd, Mason Boyd, Stephen Babus IV, Michael Webster, Grace Webster and Gavin Harrison; his great grandchild Ava Boyd; and his siblings, James Cardenas, Bruce Cardenas and Joanne Gonzales (Charlie) of Virginia.
