He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Vivian Kent and Elvin Hallander; his wife Rebecca May; his sister Carolyn Troesken; his children, Jon Eric, Leslie Ann, Lara Kersten and Harry Wellott; and his grandchildren, Alyson Hallander (NJ), Corinne Vera (CA), Hayley, Kyra Plas (TX) and Cole Wellott (MA).

Persistent Cellulitis and a recent bout with COVID 19 left him too weak to keep up the fight.
