She was predeceased by : her parents, Elizabeth Schmittner (Rhein) and Lester Schmittner; her husband William A. Hoffmann; her daughter Carol S. Littenberg of Lancaster, SC; and her brother Warren Schmittner of Danvers, MA..
She is survived by : her children, Susan V. Hoffmann of Keene and David W. Hoffmann, Sr. (Betsy) of Lincolnton, NC; her grandson David W. Hoffmann, Jr. (Amanda) of Lincolnton, NC; her great grandchildren, Ruby Mae and Caroline Hope; her grandson Mark E. Hoffmann (Shauna) of Raleigh, NC; her great grandchildren, Ellie Grace, Claire Marie, Rachel Ivy and Lainey Jane; her granddaughter Joy Aldridge of Rock Hill, SC; and her cousin Dorothy Friedenreich of Bonita Springs, FL. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
