It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Gavzy (Paramus, New Jersey), born in Paterson, New Jersey, who passed away on January 29, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son Ike. She is survived by: her husband Max; her children, Bill (Laura) and Debby Nedelman (Jerry); her daughters-in-law, Catherine Breier and Jamie Kreiman; her grandchildren, Arianna, Asher (Jaclyn), Sam and Liza; and her great grandchild Lyla. She is also survived by 3 children, 5 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
The family requests that donations in her memory be made to the Jewish Federation of Northern New Jersey.
