He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Martin Lewitz and Lena Lewitz; his wife Edna Schwartz of Teaneck; his pets, National Champions, Seelig and Edna; his children, Leigh Lewitz Kennedy (James), Allen Lewitz, Lissa Lewitz Hanson (Bruce) and Lynn Lewitz Ritchie; and his grandchildren, Jenna Fryer, Kara Peterson (David), Matthew Lewitz, Zachary Lewitz (Robin), Jessica Nitzberg (Brian), Keith Hanson (Lauren), Melissa Ritchie and Leighanne Ritchie. He was also cherished by 14 Great Grandchildren.
