She was predeceased by: her parents, David Burgdorfer and Mary Amelia Burgdorfer (Rivara); and her sister Dorothy Schrempp. She is survived by: her husband Robert Lampert; her children, David Lampert, Jennifer DeMuro and Mark Lampert; her grandchildren, Adrian Lampert, Autumn Lampert and Haydn Xu; her nieces, Debbie Silverstein, Jo Ann Fagan and Karin Shell; and her cousin Patricia Unsicker (Richardson).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Becker Funeral Home (219 Kinderkamack Rd, Westwood, NJ 07675). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Mercy Church (2 Fremont Ave, Park Ridge, NJ 07656).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks instead that donations be made in Jean's honor to the Light of Day Foundation (lightofday.org) which uses music performances to benefit research into Parkinson's Disease, Lou Gehrig's Disease and Progressive Supranuclear Palsey.
