He was predeceased by : his wife Elizabeth "Betty" Maretz. He is survived by : his sons, Robert Maretz (Gail) of Monroe Twp and Jeff Maretz (Kathy) of South Port, NC; his grandchildren, Jesse, Brian and Erica; his sister Dorothy Jordan of Palm Harbor, FL.; and his pet Nala.
