We are sad to announce that on March 23, 2020, at the age of 91, Ralph J. Amato (Parsippany, New Jersey), born in Brooklyn, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Ann A. Amato; his parents, Robert Amato and Irene Amato (De Socio); and his brothers, Nicholas and Robert.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Amato (Patricia Amato) of Annapolis Maryland, Karen Wadeyka (Gregory Wadeyka) of Basking Ridge, NJ and Diane Hagerstrom; his grandchildren, Jennifer Murray (Josh Murray), Kerri Wadeyka, Victor Hagerstrom and Michael Hagerstrom; his great grandchildren, Molly and Cooper Murray; and his sister Rosebud Schiro of Spring Hill. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to VFW Post 5481 and mailed to Montville Memorial VFW Post 5481, 132 Changebridge Road, Montville, NJ 07045 IN THE INTEREST OF PUBLIC HEALTH, ALL SERVICES AND INTERMENT AT ST. VINCENT DE PAUL CEMETERY IN STIRLING, NJ WILL BE PRIVATE FOR THE FAMILY ONLY.
