He was predeceased by : his child Jose La Puente. He is survived by : his children, Milagros La Puente of Paterson, Pilar La Puente (Willie Lescano) of Clifton, Carla La Puente of Paterson, Lourdes La Puente (Matthew Tedesco) of Hackensack, Benjamin La Puente (Carmenza) of Paterson and Ruben La Puente (Mavis) of Fair Lawn; and his grandchildren, Jose, Luis, Nicole, Giancarlo, Leonardo, Ian, Isabella, Daniella, Sebastian, Matthew and Joshua.
