He is survived by: his girlfriend Emma DeLane; his children, Jeyar Pierce (Miranda) and La'Donna Smith (Michael); his siblings, Theodore DeLane, Johnnie Cardwell, Jackie Moore, Colette DeLane and Lovelene Cardwell; and his grandchildren, Jadon Pierce, Shawn L. DeLane and Maxine J. Smith. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
