He was predeceased by: his daughters, Stacey Brown and Jennifer Franz; his parents, Frank N. "Pop" Franz Jr. and Florence Brennan; and his brother Frank F. Franz.
He is survived by: his sister-in-law Joan Franz of Paulsboro; and his sibling's children, Shelley Franz (Sam Bombara) of Clarksboro, Mike (Beth Franz), Avery, Logan, Frankie Franz and Reese Franz.
