She was predeceased by: her parents, Ramona Ortiz and Fernando Vasquez; her husband Teodulo Nieves; and her son Orlando Nieves (Barbara). She is survived by: her children, Teddy (Paquita Nieves), Jose (Rhonda Nieves), Sandra M. Nieves (Eric Arroyo) and Julius (Cheryl Nieves). She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and many other brothers, sisters.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Lankenau Funeral Home (31 Elizabeth St, Pemberton, NJ 08068). A burial will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery (350 Province Line Rd, Wrightstown, NJ 08562).
