He was predeceased by: his father-in-law Thomas Scheideler. He is survived by: his wife Lori Scheideler Apai; his children, Nicole and Jessie Apai; his parents, John Apai and Carolyn Apai; his siblings, Gregory Apai (Nancy) and Anne Pfetsch (Friedrich); his mother-in-law Cathy Scheideler; and his siblings-in-law, John Scheideler (Marsha) and Kim Scheideler.
