She was predeceased by: her parent James Barnes. She is survived by: her parent Lidia Hewitt Barnes (late Alva K. Bowers); and her sons, Paul Bowers (Suzanne), Craig Bowers of Pennington, NJ and David Bowers (Theresa). She is also survived by ten grandchildren and one great grandchild.
