She was predeceased by: her parents, Ventura Rivera and Aurora Diaz Nuñez; her child Homero Sanchez; and her brother Humberto Rivera. She is survived by: her children, Samuel Melton Jr., Dorothy Melton, Henry Bennett, Elizabeth Corbett, Jonathan Corbett and Margaret Melton; her grandchildren, Cheriece Sanchez, Brianna Melton, Jonathan Corbett Jr. and Morgan Corbett; and her siblings, Jose Joaquin Rivera, Andres Avelino Rivera and Elba Rivera. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Pro Cathedral (2907 Federal St, Camden, NJ 08105). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Pro Cathedral (2907 Federal St, Camden, NJ 08105). A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the Calvary Cemetery.
