As we bid Maria farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Maria is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Lorenzo Diaz; and her children, Digna M. Quiles, Noemi Gonzalez (late William), Eva Sanchez (Rafael) and George Diaz (late Theresa). She was also cherished by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 8:15 AM to 9:15 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Funeral Home (6600 Browning Rd, Pennsauken Township, NJ 08109). A Mass was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception (642 Market St, Camden, NJ 08102). A burial was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 11:45 AM at the Calvary Cemetery (2398 W Marlton Pike, Cherry Hill Township, NJ 08002).
