He was predeceased by : his father Charles R. Ayars, Sr.; his nephew Christopher Geary; and his grandparents, David Watkins Sr., Rebecca Watkins and Betty Lee.

He is survived by : his mother Debra Robinson (Watkins); his wife Jami Elice Ayars (Hannah); his sons, Charles "Chucky" Richard Ayars III, Connor James Ayars and Chase Robert Ayars; his sister Casey Geary (Scott); his nephews, Aiden Geary and Herb Hannah III; his parents-in-law, Herb Hannah Sr. and Linda Hannah; and his brother-in-law Herb Hannah Jr.. He is also survived by many uncles, aunts and cousins.
