He was predeceased by : his wife Carolyn Foster (Dybus); his parents, Elwood A. Foster, Sr. and Alberta Foster (Hudson); and his siblings, Anna Mae Slovack (Foster), Charlotte Brooks (Foster), Sabrina Foster and John Foster.

He is survived by : his sons, Brian Foster (Laura) of Eatonton, GA and Douglas Foster (Carol) of Bridgeton, NJ; his grandchildren, Brian Foster (Natalie) of Woodstown, NJ, Erin Gillen (Patrick) of Salado, TX, Ryan Foster (Megan) of Pullman, WA and Sarah Holzburg (Matthew) of Vancouver, WA; his sister Ruth Lape (Foster); and his great grandchildren, Fallon, Lane Gillen, Greyson, Jaxon Foster, Raymond and Helen Foster.

Memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
