He was predeceased by: his mother Victoria Marrero; his stepfather Santos Marrero; and his father Cosme Martinez. He is survived by: his children, Victoria Ann Irizarry Romanienko (Peter) of Woodbridge, NJ, Michele Lee Gavron (Christopher) of South Amboy, NJ, Kelly Lynn Irizarry (Joe Capuano) of Lakewood Ranch, FL and Daniel Anthony Irizarry of Barnegat, NJ.; his grandchildren, Kimberly Gavron, Samantha Gavron, CJ Gavron, Preston Romanienko, John Daniel Irizarry and Ava Marie Irizarry; his great grandchildren, Brayden and Jai Julian; his siblings, Charles "Chuck" Marrero (Kathy) of Superior, CO and Dr. Santalynda Marrero (Rayland King) of Temecula, CA.; his siblings' children, Aleta D, Alanna Fiehl, Kate Patterson, Sean Marerro and James Marrero-Johnson; and his former spouses, Marijane Rios (Juan) of North Brunswick and Mary Silvernail (Earl).
