She was predeceased by: her husband Henry R. Braxton; her parents, Jacob Drinkard and Mary Lee Thomas Drinkard; and her siblings, Pacita Drinkard, Melissa Drinkard, Fred Drinkard and Jacob Drinkard, Jr..

She is survived by: her children, Pamela Drinkard-Koen (Christopher) of Northridge, CA, Michelle Hawkins (Kenneth) of Atlanta, GA, Kenneth Drinkard (Pamela) of Fords, NJ, Lisa Drinkard-Womack of Dearborn, MI and Henry Braxton II (Samantha Royal) of East Windsor, NJ.; her grandchildren, Candice, Kenneth Jr., Shaunette, Tyree, Khatybra, Samaya, Alexandria, David and Amanda; her great grandchildren, Maya, Braelyn, Zoriah and Ciera; her siblings, James Drinkard (Yolanda) of Las Vegas, NV, Fred Carter (Bernadette) of Mobile, AL, Dorothy Drinkard of Mobile, AL, Geraldine Drinkard-Moore of Northridge, CA and Ola Duncan (Thomas) of Stone Mountain, GA; and her friend Mary Riggins.
