He was predeceased by: his parents, George Sr. and Elizabeth Gerns; and his siblings, Edward Gerns and Diane Duffy. He is survived by: his wife Diana Gerns; his children, Gary D. Gerns, Laura (Ryan Kjersgaard), Amanda and Skylar; his great grandchild Harmony; and his siblings, Betty Bogus, George Gerns Jr., Charles Gerns and Ruthann Gilmore. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousin and friends.
