He was predeceased by: his father Jose. He is survived by: his grandmother Ceferina Ortiz; his uncle Edwin "Eddie" Ortiz; his wife Tara Nazario; his children, Nadya, Joshua Nazario of Perth Amboy and Jennifer Ortiz of East Brunswick; his mother Margarita Ortiz of Linden; and his siblings, Olga Ortiz-Morales, Carmen Jimenez (Miguel) of Linden, Carlos Nazario (Rachel) of North Brunswick and Maritza Nazario of Newark. He is also survived by uncles; many nieces and nephews; cousins.
