She was loved and cherished by many people including: her father Rafael Acosta; her brother Angel Acosta; her son Justin Cruz; her mother Maria I. Acosta; her significant other Ervin Cuevas; her siblings, Caridad "Cary", Tony DaSilva, Eduardo Acosta, Dennis (Maritza) and George (Gina Acosta); and her close friend Lourdes Velez. She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
