He was predeceased by: his parents, Inocenta Castagnetto (Galvez) and Humberto Castagnetto; and his siblings, Alfredo, Rosa, Olga, Fernando, Gloria, Maria, Alejandro and Luis.

He is survived by: his wife Silvia Castagnetto (Rios); his children, Jonathan, Joshua Castagnetto and Grace Castagnetto; his daughter-in-law Desiree; his grandchildren, Yandel, Abigail, Amelia and Rosa; and his brothers, Carlos, Nelson, Humberto and Manuel.
