She was predeceased by: her husband Michael Slavic; and her parents, Steven Pietruszewski and Helen. She is survived by: her brother Robert Pietruszewski; her daughter Nancy (Jim Herbert); her grandsons, Kevin and Brendan Herbert; her cousin Joyce Katona; and her friends, Gloria Hayko, Bonnie and Sal Salmorin.
