She was predeceased by: her parents, Primitivo Cartagena and Luz Cartagena; and her siblings, Amparo Cartagena and Sonia Cartagena. She is survived by: her husband Antonio Rodriguez Sr.; her children, Gisela Hernandez, Antonio Rodriguez Jr. and Christian Rodriguez; and her siblings, Maria Corcoran, Olga Cartagena, Orlando Cartagena and Miguel Cartagena. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Nilda's family to be decided at a later date in her memory.
