She was predeceased by: her father Richard J. Connelly; and her husband George L. Perez. She is survived by: her children, Angelina, Shannon, Jesse and Grace Ann Perez; her parent Angeline Connelly; her siblings, Joann Buchin, Richard J. Connelly, Jr. and Kathleen "Kathy"; her husband Thomas "Tom" Herkert; her grandchild Anasia Echavarria; and her siblings' children, Tommy and Richie Herkert.
