He was predeceased by: his parents, Maria "Nina" Bernadina Patino and Felix Maria Taveras; and his siblings, Maria, Aurora, Adolfo and Sergio.
He is survived by: his wife Aurora "Mora" Taveras; his children, Alicia, Marisol and Elizabeth; his grandchildren, Manaury, Anthony, Jessenia, Jonathon and Vanessa; his great grandchildren, Jeremy, Jada, Jonathan Jr., Matthew, Delilah and Evangeline; and his siblings, Jose, Elijio, Eduardo, Lydia, Kirina Amparo, Corina Mercedes and Gloria Taveras. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
