He was predeceased by: his son Jamie McCrone; his parents, Catherine McCrone and George McCrone Sr.; his grandson Michael McCrone; and his brothers, George Jr., Robert and James McCrone.

He is survived by: his sons, Richard McCrone Jr. (Patricia) and Kenneth McCrone (Nancy); his grandchildren, Richard III (Ariel), Lauren (Patrick) and Jessica; and his great grandchildren, Teddy, Rayven and Flanagan.
