She was predeceased by: her parents, Lidia Ortega and Dimas Collado; her son Pedro DeJesus; and her sisters, Elida and Ana Mercedes.

She is survived by: her children, Jose L. Santiago-Collado, Delilah Vasquez, Christopher Vasquez, George Vasquez, Jorge Vasquez, Luis Fernando Vasquez and Jonathan Vasquez; and her siblings, Domingo, Jose, Rafael, Luz, Maria Acevedo, Ana Vargas, Eulalia and Sonia. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren.
