He was predeceased by : his parents, John J., Sr. and Theresa Fohr (Vargo); and his siblings, Theresa Fohr Spence of Phillipsburg, Louis Edward Fohr of New Ringgold, PA and Margaret Fohr Woolf of Bethel, PA..

He is survived by : his children, Robin Fohr-Quimby (David), Robert Donald Fohr (Kathy Morgan Fohr) and Glenn Kerk Fohr (Lori Jewell); his grandchildren, Lauren Breanna Nelson, Jeremy Artman and Jason Artman; and his siblings, Diana Fohr LoPresti of Stockertown, PA, Esther Fohr Shepherd of Phillipsburg, Viola Fohr Raub of Easton and John J. Fohr, Jr. of Phillipsburg.
