He was predeceased by: his father Nicholas Markakis. He is survived by: his mother Maria Koundourakis; his brother Harry Markakis (Samantha); and his nephew Niko. He is also survived by many other cousins, relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. George Greek Orthodox Church (1101 River Rd, Piscataway, NJ 08854). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Van Liew Cemetery (585 Georges Rd, North Brunswick Township, NJ 08902).
