He was predeceased by : his wife Brenda Ramsey; his parents, Garfield Ramsey and Nancy Ramsey; and his brothers, Larry Riddick and Royal Ramsey.
He is survived by : his children, Anthony McCoy (Daisha), Anita McCoy, Melvin McCoy, Belinda Kimbrough (Alvin) and Divine McCoy (Eileen); and his siblings, Louise Mirchell, Thomas Ramsey and Joe Riddick (Dorothy). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; a host of great grandchildren.
