He was predeceased by: his parents, William McCluskey and Margaret McCluskey; and his brother William. He is survived by: his wife Barbara McCluskey; his children, Maura Gonzalez (Eladio) and Neal McCluskey (Julia); and his grandchildren, Catherine, Iona, Clare and Nathanael.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, a donation in Owen's name be made to either the Plainsboro Rescue Squad or the Society of Saint Vincent DePaul.
